Attendants earn tips for performing services such as fueling, tire inflation, and snack delivery. There is also a $2.99 platform fee and a 3% card fee. You may save money by paying with cash. The fees helps cover the normal cost of doing business. Some examples of those costs are legal, accounting, taxes, technology, marketing, payroll and payment processing.

How can I tip the attendant?
If you place your order in-person, you may add a tip on your card using our mobile point of sale. If you place your order using the mobile app, you may add a tip on your electronic receipt.
Can I pay with cash?
It is safer for everyone if attendants do not hold any cash. A cashless system reduces the risk of crime. However, an attendant may accept cash at their discretion.
Is my card information secure?
Yes. We only accept EMV (chip enabled) or NFC (tap-to-pay) payments in person. Gas Valet mobile app payments are secured using a patented card authorization and authentication method.
