How much does Gas Valet cost?

Attendants earn tips for performing services such as fueling, tire inflation, and snack delivery. There is also a $2.99 platform fee and a 3% card fee. You may save money by paying with cash. The fees helps cover the normal cost of doing business. Some examples of those costs are legal, accounting, taxes, technology, marketing, payroll and payment processing.

Is Gas Valet a "separate" company?

Gas Valet is a fintech startup based in Atlanta, Georgia. Our platform allows convenience store owners to provide tech-enabled services to their customers.

How many people have used Gas Valet?

We have serviced over 100,000 customers in Buckhead over the past 3 years.

Does the gas station pay the attendants?

The attendants work as independent contractors of Gas Valet and work soley on tips.

Is there an upcharge on the price of gasoline?

The price per gallon is the same as self-serve. On occasion, we offer incentives for large fuel purchases of 20 gallons or more.

Are the attendants paid hourly?

Attendants work soley on tips. They utilize the Gas Valet platform to perform the service. This ensures both the physical and financial security of customers.

How can I tip the attendant?

If you place your order in-person, you may add a tip on your card using our mobile point of sale. If you place your order using the mobile app, you may add a tip on your electronic receipt.

Can I pay with cash?

It is safer for everyone if attendants do not hold any cash. A cashless system reduces the risk of crime. However, an attendant may accept cash at their discretion.

Is my card information secure?

Yes. We only accept EMV (chip enabled) or NFC (tap-to-pay) payments in person. Gas Valet mobile app payments are secured using a patented card authorization and authentication method.

The Founder
